Built in 2000 and fully refurbished in 2011, the MS Michelangelo offers modern facilities and a friendly crew, making it the perfect ship for exploring Venice. There are three decks altogether, including a large sun deck where you can relax in the shade or enjoy the Italian sunshine. There’s also a shop onboard selling practical items along with postcards, stamps and souvenirs.

The lounge is the perfect place for relaxing, with large panoramic windows that ensure you miss none of the scenery while creating a bright and spacious environment. There’s a large TV and bar area which is accessed from the reception, and a dance floor for everyone to take to in the evenings.

The restaurant is located on the upper deck and is large enough to accommodate all guests in one sitting, with panoramic windows around the room. Breakfast is laid on as a buffet with a delicious range of hot and cold dishes, while lunch and dinner are set courses served to your table. The menus focus on regional specialties and international dishes. House wine, beer and soft drinks with lunch and dinner are all included as are tea and coffee which are available throughout the day on a self-serve basis and also with meals.

The cabins are spread across two decks and are all very similar in terms of size and layout. They each have a large picture window which allows plenty of light into the room, and there is an en suite, hairdryer, safe and satellite TV – if you can peel your eyes away from the view! They are also fitted with air conditioning.
